Kennesaw State is putting on a “Silent Night” this Thursday against North Florida. Here is the official KSU clipping for the event, and how to participate in the actual festivities (no relation to our personal Owl Howl contest)Follow @KSUOwlHowl
The Silent Night concept was invented by Taylor University, a small institute located in Indiana. It’s been a big hit, and has made its rounds on YouTube
Kennesaw State is going the four point route instead of the 10 which is used by Taylor. Let’s examine how long it’s taken the Owls to get 4 points in each contest this year
Average time: Approximately 3 minutes 44 seconds
Average time in wins: 57.5 seconds
Shortest time: 55 seconds vs. Mercer
Longest time: 8:46 vs. East Tennessee St.
Cummings- 7 times
2 pointer- 13 times
3 pointer- 7 times
Free throw- 2 times
It’s easy! You just have to pick the correct player and method of scoring (3 pointer, 2 pointer, free throw) that will get to (or surpass) the Owls’ fourth point scored in the men’s game this Thursday (2/7/13) against North Florida. As a tie-breaker, include how many minutes and seconds into the game you think it will take until the Owls get to or pass four points (whoever is closer to the exact time, whether over or under wins the tie-breaker). To play, just comment on this blog entry with your REAL name (on your ID/license) or Tweet your answer at us on Twitter (@KSUOwlHowl) with the hashtag #Contest.
The winner will get up to five dollars worth of concessions that I will personally pay for out of pocket, at the next mutually attended home game of any KSU sport. The winner will also will receive a shout-out on the blog and Twitter.
This is an Owl Howl blog contest, and is not endorsed by Kennesaw State University in any way. It is free to play. You do not have to be a student to enter. One entry per person, and all entries must be submitted by 2/7/13 at 6:55 p.m ESTFollow @KSUOwlHowl
