A soccer match vs. North Florida at 7:00pm will kickoff the homecoming weekend tonight and it will conclude on Sunday after the Lady Owls take on Jacksonville in a Senior Day game at 1:00pm. But there will be a lot of stuff in between…
Saturday will be an even busier day on the Kennesaw State campus as the volleyball team goes to battle with in-state rival Mercer at 3:00pm, but it is also the unofficial opening of the basketball season with KSU’s version of “Midnight Madness” which has been deemed “Flight Night,” to be held at 7:00pm.
Per the official KSU press release which can be found here, the weekend’s itinerary will look like this:
NOTE: “Due to the fireworks show, the east parking deck will be closed on Saturday. For people planning on attending, parking will be available in the east parking lot or central parking deck.”
7:00pm: Women’s soccer vs. North Florida. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Night. (Tickets are $6 but only $3 if your wear pink/students get in free). The game will be streamed live online FREE from ASUN.TV as always!
3:00pm: Volleyball vs. Mercer. $6 tickets for adults, $3 for children and free for students. The match will be streamed live online FREE from ASUN.TV as always!
5:00pm: Homecoming tailgate and parade outside the convocation center (FREE FOR ALL)
7:00pm: Flight Night. The basketball teams will take place in three point and dunk contests followed by scrimmages. A fan will also take a half-court shot for a chance to win $1,000. Per the official press release “The first 500 fans will receive a free Owls t-shirt and the first 200 students will receive an LED baton.” (FREE FOR ALL)
8:30pm: Concert on the Campus Green featuring J-Dash and the Ying Yang Twins (FREE FOR ALL)
10:30pm: Fireworks (FREE FOR ALL)
