Class of 2013 small forward Jamall Robinson is visiting Kennesaw State this weekend per his AAU coach Morello Vest. He has a scholarship offer from KSU.
Robinson currently plays for Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax Virginia and also Team Takeover in AAU. The 6’5″ 205 pound guard/forward averaged 7.1 points per game for the number twelve high school team in the entire nation as a junior. He earned a three star rating by Rivals.com.
BasketballElite.com says that Robinson is “A strong and physical wing that attacks defenders off the bounce. He draws fouls because he dribbles through contact and can finish. Robinson also slashes in between defenders. He is a terrific rebounder and passer as well. Robinson is a great defender due to his desire and strength. He has the ability to defend both perimeter wing positions.”
DMVElite.com also had high praise: “Jamall is an exciting athlete. He can thrill the crowd with dunks on follow ups and on the fast break, blow by defenders and pull up or finish in the paint and pull down rebounds. He is very explosive and has a great upside. To improve he needs to become a defensive stopper by taking the best player on the opposing team out of the game. He also goes multiple possessions without touching the ball. As he continues to mature this will surely improve.”
Robinson told Edgar Walker of HoopGroup.com in July that Kennesaw State has been the most active school in his recruitment, and Rivals.com reported in July that KSU was one of the schools standing out to him because of their coaching staff.
Robinson also has offers from George Mason, George Washington, Robert Morris, St. Peter’s, Howard, Manhattan and Towson with interest from Pittsburgh, Xavier, Massachusetts and Niagara.Follow @KSUOwlHowl
