Per Dequezne Almonds on Twitter, Kennesaw State and rival Jacksonville were the first two schools to show interest in Huntsville Alabama 6’8″ power forward Sean Berry. The 2015 Sparkman High School prospect can stretch the floor, rebound and defend. He has good post moves and occasionally he will dunk on a big.
Kennesaw State dropped by Virginia’s Paul VI Catholic High School on Wednesday to likely meet with senior guard/forward Jamall Robinson. Robinson told Rivals in July that KSU is one of the schools that is really standing out to him.
They might have also spoken with Paul VI sophomore point guard Kevin Dorsey, but he is a long shot as he has high major interest/offers at a young age.
Lavon Long Tweeted on Saturday that he should decide within the next 30 days. He has three official visits scheduled within that time span, and he has already visited KSU and Rider.
The early signing period for NCAA basketball is from November 14th through November 21st this year. The next 30 days will likely land at least one commitment for KSU, as they have three open spots for 2013 after the graduations of Aaron Anderson and Markeith Cummings.
