Senior forward LaVon Long has announced his top five schools via Twitter, and Kennesaw State is number two on the list. He also said that KSU and Longwood (also on the list) are the only teams that give him the option of being a point forward, which is undoubtedly a selling point. Long will be taking an official visit to KSU over the weekend, so keep checking the Owl Howl for updates!
We forgot to mention last week that KSU coaches dropped by a few DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area high schools on September 9th, likely to visit a couple of 2014 prospects. They stopped by the Maret School in DC to likely visit point guard Steffen Davis, and also the St. Stephens and St. Agnes School in Alexandria Virginia to presumably check up on forward Cameron Gregory.
