After a slow couple of weeks with little recruiting news to report, Kennesaw State has offered Class of 2014 guard Bryant McIntosh from Greensburg High School in Greensburg Indiana. McIntosh played his freshman year at New Castle High School.
According to IndianaRecruitingGuide.com “(McIntosh is a) great mid-range shooter and can also create for himself going to the rim with a nice array of moves. Bryant is a good decision maker, makes some nice passes and finds open teammates. He has a floater that he likes to use when attacking the basket off the dribble that seems to go in every time. Sneaky athletic and quick too. Good length which allows him to disrupt some passes on the defensive end. Still want to see him become a more consistent 3-point shooter.”
He has offers from Buffalo, Indiana St., Kent St. and Western Michigan in addition to his newest one from KSU. He is also receiving interest from around 15 schools including Butler, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Notre Dame, Purdue and Xavier.
In other news, KSU is showing interest in 6’3″ 175 pound senior shooting guard Stedman Lowry from Lakota East High School in West Chester Ohio according to Mike Dyer of Cincinnati.com. He currently has one Division I offer from KSU’s new Atlantic Sun Conference rival Northern Kentucky University and is getting interest from Air Force, American, Army, Davidson, Navy, William & Mary and Yale. He would likely have more offers by now had he not torn his ACL five games into his junior season.
